Bio

Hans Vercauteren (b. 1990) is a composer and conductor recognized for his contributions to theatre music, concert works, and orchestral leadership. He studied composition with Wim Henderickx, earning his master’s degree magna cum laude from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, and later completed an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London. Hans has collaborated with ensembles like The Flemish Radio Choir, Brussels Philharmonic, and Casco Phil, making his conducting debut with them in 2016. He co-founded Story Tree, a production company focused on music theatre and multimedia projects. Renowned for his orchestration and arrangement work, he has contributed to major ballet productions, including collaborations with The Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet. Hans also serves on the Artistic Council of Music at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and frequently works as a recording producer and music supervisor for Motormusic.
